Tempo Dance Festival has partnered with Q Theatre and iTicket to manage ticket sales, aiming to broaden its reach and utilise reliable ticketing technology to offer a seamless purchasing experience for our audience.

Can I purchase tickets at the venue?

Yes! However, we strongly encourage you to purchase tickets well in advance to avoid missing out on your preferred performance.

Are there discounts available?

  • Early bird discounts are available for some shows and ends Fri 6 Sep, 2024.

  • Concession prices are available for card holders to: Community Services or Equity Card, Senior Gold Card

  • Group discounts for 6+ tickets are available for some shows

  • Festival 2, 3 & 4 packs are available for some shows and are designed to encourage audiences to catch more than 1 show a night. Festival packs save you 20-25% of ticket prices.

  • Student express discounts will be available for some shows on performance day. Stay up to date on our social media channels for more info.

Are there affordable prices?

Yes! The Tempo team has worked hard to ensure that everyone can enjoy our festival. We have a range of prices suitable for most individuals and families.

  • Multi-reserve pricing

  • Concession pricing

  • Tertiary Student pricing

  • Rangatahi (13-18) pricing

  • Tamaiti (12 yrs and under) pricing

  • Group +6 pricing (for some shows)

Do you have Afterpay?

Yes! Afterpay is a great option for those who are comfortable paying for their purchases in 4 instalments over 6 weeks.

Our ticket partner iTicket provides an option to pay by Afterpay.

Can I bring my children?

Not all shows are suitable for children, so we encourage you to review the show details to assess their appropriateness. We’ve included audience and age warnings on some shows to help you make an informed decision.

Are there any free events?

Yes! Our hosted community days and Public Programme events across central Auckland are free to attend. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list and follow our social media channels to stay updated on how to participate in our free programmes.

What is the refund/exchange policy?

If you can’t attend your show, we encourage you to share your ticket with a friend or whānau member to spread the joy of dance. Refunds or exchanges are generally not available once tickets are purchased, so please choose carefully and review the terms and conditions of sale. For specific inquiries, feel free to contact iTicket directly.

What is iTICKET’s refund policy?

iTICKET does not typically offer refunds or exchanges after purchase unless required by law or if an event is cancelled without a rescheduled date. Ticket prices can be refunded, but all other fees and charges are non-refundable.
